No suitable opponent found for Vanes Martirosyan’s Feb 5 bout

PanARMENIAN.Net - WBO #1 super welterweight Vanes Martirosyan (28-0, 17 KOs) is off the February 5 Top Rank LIVE card at the Activities Center in Maywood, California.

Martirosyan was scheduled for an eight-rounder, but no suitable opponent could be found.

Manager Steve Fader told Fightnews.com that Vanes will work one-on-one with trainer Freddie Roach for two solid weeks and be ready for a bout in March.

The February main event will feature a ten-rounder between super middleweights Francisco Sierra (23-3, 21 KOs) and Carlos DeLeon (21-3-2, 14 KOs). Also unbeaten heavyweight Andy Ruiz (7-0, 5 KOs) will see action.
