Aronian ties game v Ponomarev

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian tied his 11th round game with Ukraine’s Ruslan Ponomarev, retaining his 3rd place in the standings of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament in Wijk Aan Zee, Netherlands.

Hikaru Nakamura of the U.S. keeps the lead, followed by Viswanathan Anand of India.

Gabriel Sargissian played in a draw with France’s Laurent Fressinet.

In the next round, Aronian and Sargissian will face Erwin L’Ami (Netherlands) and Jon Hammer (Norway) respectively.
