The grandmaster is placed 9th, while Sergei Tivyakov (Netherlands) is leading the tournament with an equal number of points.In the 6th round, Kotanjyan will rival the highest-ranked participant, Rustam Kasimdzhanov of Uzbekistan. The tournament will last till March 7. Total Cash Prize was set at USD 40000; tournament winner will receive USD 10 thousand.
