Armenia in Group 7 of UEFA Women's EURO 2013 group stageMarch 14, 2011 - 19:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 14, Nyon, Switzerland, hosted the UEFA Women's EURO 2013 group stage draw. As per its results, Armenia are in Group 7 to rival Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria and Portugal, UEFA said on its official website. The 38 hopefuls were split into seven groups, three of six and four of five, which will eventually produce 11 qualifiers to join hosts Sweden in the finals. Fixtures, which will be confirmed shortly, will run on international dates for 12 months from September 2011, with matches on Wednesdays/Thursdays and Saturdays/Sundays. The group winners and best runners-up (not counting results against sixth-placed teams) will qualify for the finals alongside hosts Sweden. The six remaining runners-up will contest home-and-away play-off matches on 20/21 and 24/25 October 2012, with the three winners of these ties also qualifying.
