Yuri Sargsyan says Armenia will defeat Russia 2:1 or 1:0 in Euro-2012 qualifier

PanARMENIAN.Net - Weightlifter Yuri Sargsyan, Olympic Games silver winner, multiple World, European and USSR champion said that Armenia will defeat Russia 2:1 or 1:0 in the upcoming Euro-2012 qualifier in Yerevan. "Seeing the excitement of Armenian fans, I understood that the Armenian football players should do their utmost for the victory," Sargsyan told journalists in Yerevan.

According to him, earlier he predicted that his friend Vic Darchinyan will be defeated by Abner Mares. "I have never doubted Darchinyan's strength, but had a feeling that he will lose the bout vs. Mares," said Sargsyan.
