Roman Amoyan wins gold at European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian sportsmen got off to a successful start at European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship, having won 3 medals in 4 weight categories.

Roman Amoyan, silver medalist of the World and European Championship won the tournament in under 55 kg category, having scored victories over all of his rivals, including Azerbaijani sportsman Vugar Akimov, representing Ukraine.

Artur Shahinyan and Yuri Patrikeev won bronze in 84 and 120 kg weigh classes respectively.
