  Elina Danielyan climbs to 3rd position at European Chess Championships May 16, 2011 - 11:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielyan defeated Hoang Thanh Trang (Hungary) in the 8th round of the European Individual Women Chess Championships to climb to the 3rd position with 6 points. Danielyan is half a point behind the leader, Victoria Cmilyte (Lithuania). Besides, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Nelli Aghinyan and Maria Gevorgyan celebrated victories over Miranda Mikadze, Nani Unapkoshvili and Tamar Khmiadashvili (all from Georgia) respectively. Lilit Galoyan, Anahit Kharatyan, Anna Hayrapetyan, Lia Martirosyan and Siranush Ghukasyan suffered defeats.
