Cox admits ball brushed his arm before Berezovsky was sent-off

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ireland striker Simon Cox admits the ball brushed his arm before the Armenian keeper Roman Berezovsky was sent-off for handling outside the penalty area in Euro 2012 qualifier.

Cox adds that he didn't think the ball struck Berezovsky's arm outside the area even though he appealed for a foul with the other Republic players, BBC Sport reports.

The West Brom striker replaced injured Robbie Keane in the Republic side in Tuesday's 2-1 victory which secured the Irish a place in next month's Euro 2012 play-offs.
