Aliyev can “proudly” say he bred a generation ridden by animal hatred for Armenians

According to some available data, even today, snipers killing Armenian soldiers are recruited from various countries, often distant from Azerbaijan.

The closer the parliamentary elections in the neighboring republic, the louder and more hysterical become accusations against the Armenians, coupled with threats to “come and win back”. So, the day before, speaking at the Cabinet meeting, President Aliyev decided to once again flex his muscles, meanwhile “threatening” Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. No one knows by what the head of the sultanate threatens, and how he is going to put it into practice. Neither is it important; what matters is that his people receive just another battery of emotional charge.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Apparently, the “minute of hatred” in Azerbaijan will last long. And, thereupon, one comes to the conclusion that George Orwell, as well as, of course, Dr. Goebbels are the favorite writers of Aliyev Jr. In fact Ilham Aliyev said nothing new in his speech, just the tone of his statements became more threatening, if not hysterical. Naturally, almost the entire speech was devoted to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Aliyev can now “proudly” say that he bred a generation ridden by animal hatred for Armenians. And no democracy will any longer save the situation.

“This is not the first year that military expenses of Azerbaijan have been ahead of other expenses of the country. This is natural since we live in a time of war, and the Azerbaijani State is doing its best to accelerate and reinforce the process of building an army. Expenses allocated to the army today, increase the power of our armed forces. Presently, the Azerbaijani army is the strongest, the most professional, the most capable and the most combat-ready army in the South Caucasus, and it is natural that we should continue working in this direction,” Aliyev said. The combat readiness of the Azerbaijani army can be argued, at least because according to certain data, even today, snipers killing Armenian soldiers are recruited from various countries, often distant from Azerbaijan. Not to mention the fact that in case of war, the Azerbaijani army simply will not be fighting because of incompetence; instead, an army of mercenaries will be enlisted. This is what the Azeri money and weapons are meant for. Moreover, all the statements claiming that Baku is equipped with modern weapons are wide from the truth. According to a number of military experts, even armed with the weaponry she is, Azerbaijan has no one to use these armaments masterfully. The best the Armed Forces of the Azerbaijani Republic are capable of is to open aimless fire on the Armenian positions, organize bandit onslaughts, which inflict nothing but losses on the Azeris themselves. Besides, Azeris are also able to kill those sleeping and unarmed. If this is what the president of Azerbaijan meant, when he spoke of the combat readiness of his army, then he’s right.

Aliyev also referred to the OSCE assessment mission. “I hope the mission report will be fair and objective, and not balanced, since in the negotiation process very often the mediators act, based on a balanced approach. But there is no place for a balanced approach in this sphere, since it is our land, where all the buildings were destroyed by the Armenians, everything was knocked over like skittles, all our historical monuments, mosques and homes were destroyed and ransacked. Armenian vandals committed all that. All our wealth was looted by Armenian marauder,” the Azeri President said. We are not going to comment on this statement of Ilham Aliyev, as it has nothing to do with reality and does not fit in the frames of a civilized leader’s behavior. But what can be expected from the descendant of nomads, even if he has a diploma of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations?

Baku believes that the OSCE has only two chances left to prove it is able to peacefully settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: to give a fair assessment of the Armenian vandalism and illegal settlement of occupied Azerbaijani territories, as well as to achieve formation of the draft agreement on resolving the Karabakh conflict at the upcoming OSCE summit in Astana, in December.

No matter what Aliyev says, court politicians have already taken up the idea of replacing the co-chairs. Political Scientist Mubariz Ahmedoglu explicitly stated that the EU intends to replace France for Germany. In view of the apparent nonsense, it’s just not worth talking about it. But Ahmedoglu went further, saying Iran is today the greatest external obstruction to resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. According to him, despite the fact that the settlement serves the national interests of Iran, especially in light of the impending war against it, this neighboring country today holds the toughest anti-Azerbaijani position, and aims to the non-existence of the independent state of Azerbaijan. Here Ahmedoglu is right because Iran treats its northern neighbor quite coolly, believing that in the event of war bombers would fly up from Azeri and Georgian airfields, and not Armenian.
