Association of intellectual Armenian youth formed in Russia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The presentation of the association of intellectual interaction of Armenian young people (AIAY) took place in the Academy of national economy under the RF government. As reported by Yerkramas, the newspaper of the Armenians of Russia more than 90 people were present at the presentation. The event was opened with the welcoming speech of the member of the AIAY's Council of Trustees, dean of the department of "Finance and banking" of ANKH under the RF government of Seda Nasibian who greeted the participants and told about the prerequisites of the creation of association. Then the members of the administration of AIAY hold the presentation for the participants devoted to the association, its goals and objectives and events. The Trustees of the Association were introduced. After the presentation member of the Council of Trustees of AIAY, President of the Association of the Russian Banks Garegin Tosunian addressed the guests and pointed out to the significance of the role of the Association in the integration of young people, aimed at the personal development, as well as emphasized the need of creating the possibility of intellectual, professional and cultural interaction for the Armenian and Russian young people. Armenian Ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatian, the honorable guest at the presentation, promised to render comprehensive support to the development of Association. After the presentation of AIAY, the first master-class on the topic "Social and economic development of Russia" was organized for the members and potential members of Association, presented by the member of the Council of the trustees Academician Abel Aghanbegian. To the attention of listeners was presented the brief characteristics of the social and economic development of Russia, after which was the active discussion of topic. The association of intellectual interaction of Armenian young people is a non-profit, non-partisan, youth association, aimed to unify Russian-Armenian young people and restore the intellectual traditions of Armenian people. The members of the organization are students, graduate students, masters and simply active intellectual young people. The members of AIAY exchange valuable information, they assist each other in achieving professional goals. Scientific works, professional articles and other academic and professional literature are assembled and being constantly updated in the database of AIAY. Regularly workshops and master-classes with the participation of leading specialists/professionals in different spheres are being organized. The AIAY members do not forget also about the cultural development of the Armenian young people, the remarkable data and national holidays are being celebrated, joint leisure, workshops and seminars on history and culture of Armenian people are being organized.
