Jean-Marie Lepen: US Want to Push Turkey into EU

PanARMENIAN.Net - «Turkey is on the way of Islamization. As compared to the Eastern Europe, Turkey does not follow a way of becoming more secular,» stated Chairman of National Front Party of France Jean-Marie Le Pen in the course of a news conference in Limassol, Cyprus. He censured the US for overthrowing secular governments of the Near East, including those in Syria and Iraq. Le Pen reaffirmed his indisputable oppositionist stand towards Turkey's accession to the EU. «Americans actually want to push Turkey into the EU,» he stated. In his words, apparently Turks are not Europeans either in geographic, historical or cultural respects. «Europe may be composed only of European countries,» remarked Le Pen. During Le Pen's news conference a group of Greeks organized a rally with transparencies «Hitler, Le Pen - let them never be again». In response Le Pen stated, «Let them organize their rally in Ankara.»
