Mammadyarov: Efforts to Solve Karabakh Issue to Activate in 2006

PanARMENIAN.Net - From the beginning of 2006 efforts to make progress in settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be activated, Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stated in a conversation with journalists. In his words, today it is already agreed to hold a meeting of Azeri and Armenian FMs in Ljubljana December 4-5, though the format is not adjusted yet. OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will arrive in Ljubljana to take part in the meeting, he added. As of the continuation of the talks, November 10 the Co-Chairs addressed the session of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, making a report on the course of the peace talks, E. Mammadyarov remarked. OSCE MG Co-Chairs are scheduled to visit the region in mid-December, the Azeri FM said, reported Trend agency.
