96.5% Armenian Citizens in Russia Said "Yes" to Constitutional Amendments

PanARMENIAN.Net - 96.5% of Armenian citizens in Russia, who took part in the constitutional referendum held November 27 backed the amendments, reported Yerkramas, the newspaper of Armenians of Russia. According to head of the Moscow regional organization "Russian-Armenian Commonwealth" Yuri Navoyan 19446 (96.5%) out of 20142 RA citizens, who voted in the referendum, said "yes" to the constitutional amendments, 377 (1.9%) voted against. In all the number of polling stations in 9 cities made 12. 3 constituencies functioned in Moscow. The number of voters in the Russian capital comprised 5380; 5268 (97.9%) voted for, 103 (1.9%) against, 9 (0.2%) ballots were declared invalid.

Rostov-on-Don (2 polling stations): total number of votes 3750, for- 3300 (88%), against - 159 (4.24%), invalid - 291 (7.76%).

Saint Petersburg: total number of votes 814, for- 804 (98.9%), against - 6 (0.8%), invalid - 4 (0.3%).

Sochi: total number of votes - 1760, for - 1743 (99%), against - 15 (0.85%), invalid - 2 (0.15%).

Volgograd: total number of votes - 1800, for - 1794 (99.7%), against - 0 (0.0%), invalid - 6 (0.3%).

Yekatirenburg: total number of votes - 1956, for - 1953 (99.8%), against - 3 (0.2%), invalid- 0 (0.0%).

Perm: total number of votes - 1282, for - 1202 (93.8%), against - 77 (6%), invalid - 3 (0.2%).

Tolyatti: total number of votes - 1679, for - 1671 (99.5%), against - 6 (0.4%), invalid- 2 (0.1%).

Vladivostok: total number of votes - 1721, for - 1711 (99.4%), against - 8 (0.5%), invalid - 2 (0.1%).
