CIS Leaders to Discuss Some 30 Issues in MinskNovember 28, 2006 - 15:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Summit of CIS leaders has opened at the National Library of Belarus in Minsk. Presidents of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine take part in the summit. The Turkmen delegation is led by Deputy Chair of the Cabinet. The state leaders will start conversation in a narrow circle, then the talks will continue in wider composition. Some 30 issues are on the agenda of the summit. The basic ones out of these are prospects of development of CIS and enhancement of its efficiency, humanitarian cooperation of CIS member states, activation of fighting illegal migration.
