  Baku hopeful for Tehran's support in Karabakh issueNovember 23, 2007 - 17:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani parliament chairman Ogtay Asadov said he hopes for Iran's support in the Nagorno Karabakh issue. "I hope Iran will continue to exert efforts for peaceful resolution of the conflict," he said during a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel.Asadov pointed to the dynamic development of the Azeri-Iranian ties. The commodity turnover has grown from $380 million to $450 million, he noted. He also informed that juridical cooperation bases between Iran and Azerbaijan bases on 85 bilateral documents. For his part, the Iranian parliament head said that his country attaches importance to development of relations with Azerbaijan in all fields, RIA Novosti reports.
