  PACE adopts resolution calling on RA authorities to improve situationApril 16, 2008 - 17:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Monitoring committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe passed a resolution on democratic institutes in Armenia. The document calls on the RA authorities to take action to improve the situation in the republic. It stresses the necessity of an independent investigation into March 1 and 2 events, release of prisoners who did not commit crimes, amend the law "On conduction of meetings, rallies, marches and demonstrations", establish dialogue with opposition and ensure its engagement in political processes.
