Nancy Pelosi pledges to continue efforts for Armenian Genocide recognition

PanARMENIAN.Net - An event dedicated to 93rd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was held in the U.S. Congress. Addressing the attendees, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stressed the necessity of recognition of the Armenian Genocide.



"I am often asked why the issue of the Armenian Genocide should be raised and I always reply that neglect of history leads to its repetition," Ms. Pelosi said reminding about the genocides in Rwanda and Darfur.



The Speaker pledged to continue efforts for Armenian Genocide recognition and called on others to follow her example.
