NKR parliament outlines moves for international recognitionMay 14, 2008 - 17:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the NKR parliamentary committee on external relations Vahram Atanesyan has presented the joint conclusion of three parliamentary factions on the moves to be taken for international recognition of NKR.The document reads in part, "Democracy, Fatherland and ARF Dashnaktsutyun - Movement 88 factions, basing on the outcomes of the parliamentary hearings of April 21, 2008 and external relations committee session of April 2, 2008, offer the NKR President and government to take steps for cementing relations with Armenia and outline new priorities." The factions also propose to engage NKR in the negotiation process, to develop NKR National Security Doctrine and to use the Diaspora's potential. A working group on analytical and information issues for organization and coordination of activities for propaganda and preventive anti-propaganda will be formed, KarabakhOpen reports.
