NKR authorities actively cooperate with Ombudsman

Although we have been working actively for 7 months, we have already received 300 claims concerning labor legislation, criminal liability issues as well as housing problems," NKR Ombudsman Yurij Hayrapetyan said.



According to him, NKR Human Rights Defender Office will promote development and strengthening of democracy. "NKR state structures were always responsive to all the issues we raised. We are very happy that cooperation was a success, because understanding and mutual support between parties is not always possible," he noted.



Mr. Hayrapetyan also stressed the importance of cooperation between Armenian and NKR Ombudsman Offices. "Being the first to congratulate us, Armen Harutyunyan expressed willingness to assist us in all our initiatives. Advice and help from a more experienced colleague is always appreciable," Yuryj Hayrapetyan said.
