Armenia, Romania to develop bilateral cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 3, Romanian Chamber of Deputies speaker Roberta Anastase met with newly appointed Armenian Ambassador to Romania Hamlet Gasparyan.

During the meeting, parties emphasized the importance of parliamentary democracy in the development of bilateral relations. Activation of contacts between parliamentary friendship groups, support to economic, cultural educational and scientific programs as well as interparliamentary cooperation in international and European forums framework were discussed. Romanian Chamber of Deputies speaker expressed readiness to assist projects promoting strengthening of cooperation with Armenia, RA MFA press service reported.
