Kazakhstan takes significant mediator efforts in settlement of Karabakh issue

PanARMENIAN.Net - Kazakhstan, as OSCE chairing country, is taking significant mediator efforts in the settlement of Karabakh issue, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev stated.

Addressing the participants of St. Petersburg-hosted international conference on Kazakhstan’s OSCE chairmanship, he said “we continue to keep protracted conflicts in the scope of our attention.”

“5 + 2 format consultations on Transdniestria problem were held in May 2010 under the aegis of current OSCE chairman. We’re also taking significant mediator efforts in the settlement of Karabakh issue,” Nazarbayev said, Kazakhstanskaya Pravda reported.
