Oleg Yesayan: cooperation with Russia among Armenia’s priorities

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan said that cooperation with Russia among Armenia’s priorities.

“All government agencies are engaged in this cooperation. There are many positive achievements,” Yesayan said during a meeting with the Forum of Armenian Organizations of Moscow (FAOM).

He noted that 11 intergovernmental, interdepartmental and interregional agreements have been signed, while another six agreements are at the stage of intrastate reconciliation.

“Russian President Dmitry Medvedev paid his first state visit to Armenia. Soon Armenia will host a meeting with participation of heads of Russia’s regions. The visits growingly gain greater importance. We are glad to see that Russia is the first by the volume of trade turnover with Armenia,” concluded Yesayan.
