Kurdish militants launch rocket attack on Diyarbakir police station

PanARMENIAN.Net - Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants launched a rocket attack on a police station in southeast Turkey on Thursday, March 24.

Security officials said smoke was billowing out of the second floor of the police station in Hani district of Diyarbakir province, but they had no information on any casualties.

The militants withdrew after a short firefight and security forces have called up reinforcements to conduct a search of the area, Reuters reported.
