Merger of insurance companies not envisaged in Armenia in near futureJanuary 18, 2011 - 17:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Currently, the merger of Griar-Insurance and INGO-Armenia insurance companies has been completed. Director of the Association of Insurance Market Participants of Armenia union of legal entities Andranik Ohanjanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that a merger of other insurance companies is not envisaged in Armenia in the near future. Nevertheless, insurance companies may take a similar step to attract greater number of consumers of mandatory vehicle insurance services.
