Javelin thrower Melik Janoyan drops out of London Olympics

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian javelin thrower Melik Janoyan showed 72.64 m. result to come 18th in group B at London Olympics qualification round.

Armenian freestyle wrestler Mihran Jaburyan (55 kg) and taekwondo wrestler Arman Yeremyan (80 kg) will represent Armenia at London 2012 on August 10.

Armenia has won three Olympic medals, with Greco-Roman wrestlers Arsen Julfalakyan (74 kg) and Artur Aleksanyan (96 kg) grabbing silver and bronze respectably, and weightlifter Hripsime Khurshudyan (+ 75 kg) winning bronze.
