Businessmen flee Armenia to evade involvement in local elections – paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - A large number of businessmen particularly those representing the mining and processing industry are going to flee Armenia to evade involvement in the upcoming local government elections, Chorrord Ishkanutyun reports.

Though the entrepreneurs were strictly instructed in early August to complete all their “minor” activates and focus on “main” ones, businessman Vardan Ayvazyan who has close ties with Georgian authorities may be among those to leave the country, the paper says.
