PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian men’s team scored a 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan in the 8th round of World Chess Olympiad in Istanbul, Turkey.

Playing with black pieces, Gabriel Sargissian defeated Andrey Kvon, thus bringing an important point for the Armenian team.

In other games, Vladimir Akopian scored a win against Marat Dzhumaev, while Levon Aronian and Sergei Movsesian tied the matches against Rustam Kasimdzhanov and Anton Filippov respectively.
