Armenia beats Holland in World Chess Olympiad round 10 to vie for gold

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia beat Holland 3:1 in Istanbul-hosted World Chess Olympiad round 10, to continue its struggle for championship gold.

Levon Aronian and Vladimir Akopian, who played black pieces, scored wins, while Sergei Movsesian and Gabriel Sargissian ended their games in a tie.

After round 10, Armenian team has gained 17 points to share the 1st place with the U.S. and Russia.

The last, 11th round of the championship is due September 9.
