Baku eager to form Azeri-Turkish military units

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri parliamentary committee for security and defense suggested forming Azerbaijani-Turkish armed units, the committee member said.

The proposal was approved by committee members at a September 25 sitting, according to Zahid Oruc.

“According to the committee members, the units may be formed based on the existing law dated January 19, 2011, confirming an agreement on strategic partnership and mutual assistance between Azerbaijan and Turkey,” Trend News quoted Oruc as saying.
