Aronian currently 3rd after Chess Masters Final round 8

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chess Masters Final 2012 is ongoing in a Spanish city of Bilbao.

In round 8, all games ended in a tie, with Levon Aronian, Viswanathan Anand and Sergey Karjakin sharing points with Francisco Vallejo Pons, Fabiano Caruana and Magnus Carlsen respectively.

The tie gave Carlsen an upper hand over Caruana to place him 1st with 13 points. Caruana is 2nd with 13 points followed by Aronian (10 points.)

9th round pairings are as follows: Aronian - Caruana, Karjakin - Pons, Carlsen - Anand.
