Aronian deems Carlsen his main rival at London Chess Classic

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronianwill participate in London Chess Classic on December 10.

The player will face off against Hikaru Nakamura (U.S.) in the first round.

“It’s not the first time I will face Nakamura. I scored a win during our recent game and will apply the same strategy to emerge victorious this time, too,” Aronian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, noting Magnus Carlsen as his main rival.

“London Chess Classic has always been remarkable for strong participants. I’ve had a month of trainings in Armenia. I will struggle for victory,” he said.
