Simonyan to face Jai Opetaia in Yerevan Championships next round

PanARMENIAN.Net - Though Rafayel Simonyan failed to show successful participation in the first round of the fight against the Georgian representative, he later pulled himself together and scored a final win, the boxer’s coach Gevorg Misakyan said.

Earlier, Simonyan (91 kg) secured a 19:8 victory against Georgia’s Data Kvirkvelia at 2012 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.

He will face off against Australia’s Tapu Jai Opetaia in the next fight.
