Andre Agassi wins PowerShare series final eventDecember 3, 2012 - 15:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Andre Agassi has won the final event of the 2012 PowerShare Series circuit but it was not enough to prevent Jim Courier from topping the overall points table and clinching the 2012 series title, Tennis World reported. Agassi defeated Michael Chang, 8-4 in the finals of the Acura Champions Cup. Agassi commented after his win, “It’s a real blessing for all of us guys that grew up together to be playing out here on this platform, and to give back to the game that has given us so much. Regardless of how we finish, we all have a great time competing against one another, and I really enjoyed the PowerShares Series again this season. I look forward to coming back in 2013.” In the semi finals, Agassi defeated John McEnroe 6-2 while Chang got the better of Courier 6-4.
