Armenian grandmasters off to good start at Kazan Unversiade

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmasters got off to a good start at Kazan Unversiade with Zaven Andriasian and Robert Hovhannisyan beating Marco Gaehler (Switzerland) and Toms Kantans (Latvia) respectively.

After the round 1, Armenian players gained 1 point each to be placed 11th and 12th.

The Universiade is hosting 256 chess players from 47 countries.
