Armenia off to good start at European Women’s Chess Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 14th European Individual Women’s Chess Championship is ongoing in Serbia, with representatives of Armenia having got off to a good start.

In the 1st round of the championships, Lilit Mkrtchian, Maria Kursova, Lilit Galojan beat Svetlana Shulakova (Russia,) Tijana Blagojevic (Montenegro,) and Barbara Dizdarevic (Serbia) respectively.

Anna Hairapetian lost to Bulgaria’s Antoaneta Stefanova.
