Armenian weightlifter wins gold at 2016 European Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian athlete Nazik Avdalyan won the 2016 European Weightlifting Championships in the women's 69 kg weight class.

Following her triumph, Avdalyan declared that her victory is dedicated to the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army.

Earlier, Andranik Karapetyan from the Armenian national team won gold at the European Championships, while Tigran Martirosyan gained a silver medal.

Armenia's Kristine Petrosyan took the 5th spot in women’s 63 kg weight class, lifting 207 kg above her head.
