Armenia to host 2016 Caucasus Cup in golf July 9-10

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian and Georgian golfers will compete for the Caucasus Cup in Yerevan, Sputnik News reports.

Slated for July 9-10, the tournament will be held at the Ararat Valley Country Club in Armenia’s capital, President of the National Golf Association Karen Hovhannisyan was quoted as saying.

“The Caucasus Cup is a very important initiative that contributes to the promotion of golf in Armenia and Georgia,” Hovhhanisyan said.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to give new impetus to the development of this sport in the region.”
