Man United to tempt Ibrahimovic with £20 million salary: report

PanARMENIAN.Net - Manchester United are ready to match £20million-a-year global offers to keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford, The Mirror reports.

Amid increasing fears that the brilliant marksman, who has scored 28 goals already this season, could be lured away this summer, the Old Trafford bosses have sanctioned the new mega-bucks deal.

They want to ensure top goalscorer Ibrahimovic, 35, is part of boss Jose Mourinho’s rebuilding plans.

The ex-Sweden international is mulling over his options that include two bids from America and China that could swell his bank balance by up to the staggering £20m for just 12 months’ work.

Despite having a contract on the table for another year with United, Ibra is stalling – saying the Red Devils must match his ambition.

With image rights plus bonuses he could be looking at an additional £8m on top of his current £12m-a-year deal.

According to sources in Scandinavia, Ibrahimovic has been assured United will match whatever offers he receives from elsewhere.
