Caparrós apologizes for Armenia's 0:5 defeat to North Macedonia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Manager of the Armenian national team Joaquín Caparrós has apologized for the squad's 0:5 loss to North Macedonia in the qualifying round of the FIFA World Cup on Thursday, November 12.

Caparrós said the game did not go well from the very beginning, when the team missed a goal in the first minutes, which had a negative impact on the rest of the match.

The manager said it's necessary to analyze the game ahead of a fixture against Germany, to determine which players are psychologically strong enough to face one of the strongest teams in the world.

Armenia will play against Germany on November 14.

With 12 points in total, Armenia is nestled in the fourth spot in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group J, lagging behind Germany North Macedonia and Romania.
