Jose Melkonyan wins swimming races at Pan-Armenian Games![]() August 16, 2011 - 11:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Monika Vasilyan set record in 100m swimming race, winning gold of the 5th Pan-Armenian Games going on in Yerevan. She was followed by Natalie Petrosian from Boston and Maria Harutyunian from Tartu. Jose Melkonian from Montevideo was the best among men, coming first in all races. The sprint competition was won by a team from Yerevan. Teams from Gyumri and Tehran finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
