Vladimir Akopian withdraws from World Chess Cup due to leg fracture

PanARMENIAN.Net - Grandmaster Vladimir Akopian has withdrawn from the 2011 World Chess Cup due to a leg fracture. According to armchess.am, the GM broke his leg several days ago and his doctor advised him against traveling.

Thus, Armenia will be represented in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, by grandmasters Sergei Movsisian and Arman Pashikyan.
