Armenia serious about victory vs. Slovakia in EURO 2012 qualifier

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian team completed a training session at Slovakia’s Stadion MSK Zilina before September 6 UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier vs. the hosing team.The head coach of the Armenian team, Vardan Minasyan expects the match to be difficult. “Still, we’re serious about the victory. There’ve been some changes in the initial squad, as well as the team strategy. Still, we’ll adhere to some of our principles,” Armenian Football Federation website quoted the head coach as saying.

Minasyan praised Slovakia squad, naming them a well-organized and tactically ready team.

Armenian team is 11th in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier Group B with 4 points to its score; Slovakia is 3rd with 14 points.

During the first Yerevan-hosted clash between the two teams, Armenia gained a 3:1 win over Slovakia.
