Mika women dominate European Cup Club

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Mika men’s and women’s chess clubs won their 5th round games at European Cup Club in Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia.

Women defeated Giprorechtrans 2,5:1,5 to take the lead in the tournament with 14 points. Lilit Mkrtchyan and Zhu Chen won their matches, Harika Dronavali played in a draw while Elina Danielian suffered a defeat.

Men scored a 4,5:1,5 victory over Glasinac Sokolac, with Hrant Melkumyan, Zaven Andriasian and Robert Hovhannisyan celebrating victories and Gabriel Sargissian, Tigran L. Petrosian and Arman Pashikyan tying their games.
