Hovhannes Danielyan drops out of World Boxing Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Hovhannes Danielyan (49 kg) dropped out of Baku–hosted AIBA World Boxing Championships 1/16 finals, losing 2:12 to Japan’s Naoya Inoue.

Vice-World Champion, World Cup holder Andranik Hakobyan (75 kg) remains the only Armenian contender retaining a change to win an entry to London Olympics.

Winners of 1-8th places at World Boxing Championships are entitled to participation in 2012 London Olympics.
