  Nelson Stepanyan sambo memorial ends in Yerevan October 3, 2011 - 17:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan hosted Nelson Stepanyan memorial, an international youth sambo tournament, dedicated to a World War II hero, fighter pilot Nelson Stepanyan. Over 100 male and female sambo wrestlers from Armenia, Russia and Nagorno Karabakh participated in the tournament. The wrestlers were awarded with diplomas, medals, cups and certificates, with the guests taken for a sightseeing tour over Armenia. On October 13-17, Riga, Latvia will host U20 World Sambo Championship, with Armenian sportsmen participating.
