  European Chess Championships board pairings for Armenia squads named November 8, 2011 - 16:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will face off against Spain in the 6th round of Porto Carras-hosted European Team Chess Championships. The board pairings were announced as follows: Levon Aronian- Francisco Vallejo Pons, Sergei Movsesian- Ivan Lopez Salgado, Vladimir Akopian – Miguel Cordoba Illescas, Gabriel Sargissian- Luis Martinez Arizmendi. After the 5th round, Armenia is placed 6th with 7 points; Spain is 9th with the same number of points. The board pairings for women’s squad vs. Greece are as follows: Elina Danielian- Yelena Dembo, Lilit Mkrtchian- Anna-Maria Botsari, Lilit Galoyan- Ekaterini Fakhiridou, Nelly Aginian- Ekaterini Pavlidou.
