Armenia to face Russia at Women's Chess Championship round 9

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian chess team will face Russia in the 9th round of FIDE Women's World Team Championship in Mardin, Turkey.

Round 9 parings were announced as follows: Elina Danielian-Tatiana Kosintseva, Lilit Mkrtchian-Alexandra Kosteniuk, Lilit Galoyan-Valentina Gunina, Nelly Aginian-Natalija Pogonina.

At the championship, Armenia is placed 6th with 8 points, with Russia vying for silver medal. China has won 14 points to secure the championship gold.
