Yerevan to host men’s, women’s chess championships![]() January 9, 2012 - 10:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 72nd Armenian men’s chess championship will be held in Yerevan on January 11-12, with grandmasters Tigran L. Petrosian, Zaven Andriasian, Avetik Grigoryan, Hrant Melkumyan, Arman Pashikian, Robert Hoivhannisyan, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, Ashot Anastasyan, Artashes Minasyan, Levon Babujyan, Hrayr Simonyan and IM Karen Grigoryan participating. Simultaneously, 12 chess players, including Nelly Aginian, Naira Movsisyan, Maria Kursova and Yevgenia Dolukhanova, will take part in women’s championship.
