Aronyan tops the standings after the second round with 1.5 point. Vladimir Kramnik (Russia) and Wang Hao (China) also tied their game, scoring 1 point each after the second round. The two winners of the Shanghai tournament, together with Viswanathan Anand (India) and Magnus Carlsen (Norway), will participate in the Grand Slam Final tournament in Bilbao, Spain, from October 9 to 15, 2010.
