PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the traditional annual survey conducted by the federation of sports journalists of Armenia, Tigran Martirosyan was recognized the best sportsman of the year.

Grandmaster Levon Aronian comes next, followed by Greco-Roman wrestler Asren Julfalakyan.

Weightlifter Yuri Partikeev, boxer Hrachik Javakhyan, sambo wrestler Ashot Danielyan, weightlifter Meline Daluzyan, weightlifter Gevorg Poghosyan, Greco-Roman wrestler Roman Amoyan and weightlifter Ruben Alexanyan are ranked 4th to 10th respectively.

National football team (59th in FIFA rankings) was announced the best team.
